LTU Magnetotelluric Data Distribution

Magnetotellurics (MT) is an electromagnetic geophysical method for inferring the earth's subsurface electrical conductivity from measurements of natural geoelectromagnetic field variations at the Earth's surface. Magnetotelluric Transfer Functions (MTF) describe relations between electromganetic field components in frequency domain and contain essential information about Earth's electrical conductivity.

The service is available via EPOS portal. EPOS, the European Plate Observing System, is a long-term plan to facilitate integrated use of data, data products, and facilities from distributed research infrastructures for solid Earth science in Europe.
